After we meet at the Pulitzer Fountain in front of the Plaza Hotel, and introduce ourselves, we shall walk into The Central Park and down out of the city into the largest work of art in the city. You will learn of the creation of the park, and of its dreamers and creators, as we explore hidden corners and well-known spaces in Manhattan’s and New York’s wonderful nature preserve and celebration. We will walk along the Mall, and admire statues of literary and culturally important figures in our history, and also venture into the most popular birdwatching area in the Metropolitan area. We will finish our walk in the exclusive and prized neighborhood of the Upper East Side, where we have the Metropolitan Museum and the homes of many of the renowned and important people of our history, both past and present. Come! Walk with me!
