Let’s see the Old Neighborhood, because it doesn’t look like this anymore! At the turn of the 20th century NY’s Lower East Side was the most crowded place on Earth. Jews arrived in what was then called New Amsterdam in the 1650’s. Along our route we will see a huge part of the history of the 20th century and how the Jewish people have helped to shape that history. This private walk shows the historic sites of NY’s Lower East Side.
